Dear Visitor,
on this website we present the results of the conference: *Youth Opens the Space. Active Participation for Sustainable Development.* The event took place in Wroclaw in 2009 and gathered around 60 youthworkers form different countries. You can find here notes and documents created during the conference as well as Global Education resources, and description of actions realized during Global Education Week 2009 as follow-up projects of *Youth Opens the Space* .


Youth Opens the Space is an international forum for youthworkers and youthleaders organised by UNESCO Initiatives Centre from Wroclaw. This year we will organise this project for the second time already - this time young people involved in non-formal education will have a chance to explore the subject of active participation for suistainable development and strengthen the international cooperation in this field.

Main aim:
   to create a network of youth workers and trainers active in the field of non-formal eduaction – with the primary focus on education for active participation and sustainable development. 

Dear participants,

We’re very happy that just in few days we will see you all in Wroclaw :)  Before your arrival we would like to remind you to take with you few things necessary to contribute to the success of the project:
- Materials about your organization - leaflets, brochures etc. - they will be useful during the NGO-market
- Sweets and drinks typical for your country for the intercultural evening
- Any kind of publications connected with the theme of the forum – there will be special learning space organized where participants will be able to share various educational resources
